International fans will be delighted to hear, that the host broadcaster of ESC 2007 in Helsinki, YLE will open a first version of their new-look, three language website tomorrow November 8th, as the artists taking part in the Finnish National final are revealed. They promise to impove the contents as the Eurovision event of May 2007 approaches. All information will now be provided apart from Finnish, also in Swedish and English. The website will still be found in the same URL as before, www.yle.fi/eurovision/. The Swedish language daily Hufvudstadsbladet criticised YLE for the lack of information in any other language than Finnish earlier in the summer. November 8th will be a busy day, as also the new postage stamps featuring Lordi will be revealed in a press conference in Helsinki. YLE also informs, that the application as volunteers will finish on the same day. The applications will be scutinised during the coming weeks and the succesful candidates will be informeed in January at the latest. More news can be expected on the 27 November, when YLE has called another press conference, to inform amongst other things how the ticket sales will be arranged for the Eurovision shows in May 2007. www.yle.fi/eurovision/ |
