YLE, the Finnish national broadcaster has called a press conference for this Wednesday afternoon, 21 June to announce the host city of Eurovision 2007. They are listing Helsinki (Hartwall) Arena, Helsinki Fair Centre, Pirkkahalli of Tampere, Turku Hall of Turku, Lappi Arena of Rovaniemi and Espoo and Esport Arenas as the candidates. Some more names have featured in some reports earlier, but these six seem to be the shortlist. yle.fi/eurovision. The press conference will be broadcast live on digital news channel YLE24 at 14.30 Finnish time (GMT+2).
