Lordi has been getting a treatment usually reserved for Olympic gold medalists in Finland after winning Eurovision. First, the City of Rovaniemi in the Arctic Circle, original home of Mr. Lordi, congratulated the band by offering to rename a square in the City after Lordi. Mr. Lordi will also be given a plot of land to build on. Also, the city offered to host the contest at the Lappi-areena. Rovaniemi has applied to be a European Capital of Culture for the year 2011. www.rovaniemi.fi/
